Is it possible to revert to TiVo ?

I have had 360 for a short while and to be frank I don't like it for umpteen reason including no SD channels, no way of going back on last channel, no wish lists and a bonkers remote that is not usable in the dark.  Can I revert back?

  • My belief is that both the Humax and Arris boxes run Linux, so it's no big deal to remove the TiVo top-level directory from the V6, install and execute the Horizon 4 middleware and voilà - you've got a 360.

What VM want and what customers want is different.

If they're not careful they won't have many customers left. 15k customers were lost in the last quarter.

VM claim that TV360 households tend to cancel TV/broadband services less than TiVo/V6 ones.

I'm not sure how accurate that would be as a guide, I cancelled my service with a V6 because I didn't want to get stuck in a contract with an enforced change to a 360, which I'm sure can't be far off now.

In the six months to June 2024 VM lost 13,600 customers in the fixed line business due mainly to price rises. Consumer revenue increased but overall revenue was £1,904.5m, a decrease of 0.6% solely due to B2B losses. As anchor tenant VM will be increasing its customer base due to nexfibre's build out, currently over 1.3m premises passed and planned for 5m by 2026.
