Finding a lost 360 remote

Hi, my mother in law has dementia and keeps losing her remote. We don't know where she puts but we can't find them in her relatively small house.

Is there a way to find lost 360 remotes? I know you could make the old remotes bleep by pressing buttons on the box but I don't think you can do that with a 360 remote?

Are there any tags you can attach to the remote to find them?

      Hi Cunny71,

Thanks for your post and welcome back to our community.

Were you able to check which remote she has?

Please do let us know if you need any support with this and we'll do all we can to help.

  • Hi Cunny71,

There are 2 versions of the 360 remote, the original one had 4 batteries and backlit keys and pressing the + (channel up) button on the front of the box for 10 seconds would make it beep. If you have the newer version which uses 2 batteries and doesn't have backlit keys then unfortunately this doesn't work.

This was the best feature virgjn has, with 6 kids in my house they would lose it in minutes but now we could be turning the house upside down to find the bloody thing.

Why virgin did you do away with this???
