CS2000 fault

Error code CS2000. My TV will no longer rewind, pause or save recordings. The error code is not listed, I have checked all cables, rebooted and reset factory setting and nothing helps. Can anyone help?

  • If you can't pause or rewind live TV it's a sign that the box has a hard drive problem.

    You can either call Virgin on 150 from a Virgin phone, mobile or landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone to report a fault, or wait here for one of the forum team to pick this up which might be 2 to 3 day's.

    When phoning choose the option to report a fault, then ignore all the options offered and you should then hopefully be placed into a queue to speak to someone.

  • Thanks Roy, tried calling, told to WhatsApp and still no response so frustrating 🤦🏻‍♀️

  • Does anyone know how I get help from Virgin about this as each time I call I get told to WhatsApp them on a certain number and then they do not respond to it?

      Hi Joanne,

      What happens if you don't respond to any of the options offered when you phone, you used to be put into a queue to actually speak to someone.

        When I tried a few test calls to VM-CS a month or so back Roy, that's changed - and quite a few options now result in the call being cut-off if you don't respond as expected.
