Can't delete old recordings or schedule new ones on new v360 box

Had an engineer out today who replaced faulty V360 box (picture kept dropping out). He said he had reset account and unpaired old v360 box .

All the recordings are still there but no option to watch (just to subscribe) nothing happens when I try to delete and all the planned recordings are still scheduled and showing on TV guide but when they record still cant access them. I can therefore not set to record as on TV guide they are already set to record but clearly not to this box. Won't work on TV go app either .

Tried resetting to factory settings but still the same so not a clue what to do now

Thanks

V360 Horizon is a server based system. Sounds like your recording "location" on the server is still linked to the old box. If it doesn't update in the next 24 hours it will require intervention by VM to link the server to the new box.

You can try deleting the 'stuck' recordings by using the TVGO app.  If that fails then sign out of the TVGo app  on all devices you have it installed on, then clear the cache and data in the app settings, then uninstall the app, reboot the app, and then finally reinstall the app. Then reboot the 360 and fingers crossed the 'ghost' recordings will have disappeared.

An explanation of what may be happening:-

It's been indicated on the forums in the past that the recording pointers in the cloud are still linked to the old box if the old 360 box has been disconnected from the mains without first turning the box off.  This should hopefully be corrected once the recording pointers in the cloud are cleared and the replacement box is then correctly linked to the cloud server. This can take 24-48 hours, but may need another box replacement.  If this is the case then make sure that the actual box is turned off before it's disconnected and the replacement is set up.

  • Hi cathdon thanks for posting although we're sorry to hear of your concerns raised regarding your TV360 box.

As mentioned here, this may be resolved now due to the timescales but please let us know if you still our help with this and we can assist if needed.
