The quickest way to cancel if you still can would be by phoning Virgin first thing tomorrow morning, a forum team member might take a few days to pick this up. If the remote has been sent the update will automatically start after about 5 days.

  • If you have received the remote it is probably too late.

What is your reason for wanting to cancel the conversion?

Maybe he's seen the feedback on here from people that have been downgraded to 360.

In which case the standard advice applies. Conversions to TV360 are completely voluntary but also irreversible.

In the absence of assertions to the contrary, the logical assumption is that you chose to request a conversion to TV360 - and thus will be unable to revert that migration once it's in progress.

  • It's an upgrade that benefits VM rather than their customers. No additional features that I haven't already got on my smart TV and Virgin are using me as an unpaid television engineer to install and troubleshoot their flaky product

You can cancel the downgrade if it hasn't happened yet, as is the case with the OP. However, if it was me I'd ring rather than waiting for a response on here.

Once it's happened it's more difficult to go back to V6 ( though not impossible if you kick up enough of a fuss ...)
