Apps not accessible - Persistent issue

I've been having issues with my virgin box(es) lately. 

I have had 3 new boxes in 3 weeks as I cannot access netflix or Disney apps (CS2400) with virgin engineers coming out each time.

The box also keeps resetting itself to the welcome message every day ish.

Rang virgin about this and they said I needed to upgrade to 360 which I told them I already had, but they didn't listen. Ended up paying more every month which I was told would fix the issue and it hasn't, also signing up to a new 24 month contract in the process.

I'm at my wits end with this, what do I do? A new box doesn't fix the issue but nobody on the phone helps either, it's like talking to a brick wall.I wouldn't want a stream box as I do like recording. I can factory reset the box every day and then issue just comes back - I've tried everything and there are no loose connections etc!!

They gave me a £30 goodwill gesture but got all the problems I've had over the last year including broadband I am severely disgruntled.

  • How is the box connected to the hub, is it ethernet cable or wi-fi. Is it only Netflix and Disney that you have problems with, is iPlayer Ok. What hub do you have and is it connected in modem mode to another router or mesh system.

    Do you have any problems with the box deleting recordings or pausing live TV just to rule out a basic box problem.
