360 Upgrade - Error Code M63

I have received the new remote control but cannot upgrade. I keep getting the code M63.  I dont have the time to spend an hour or so on the phone to VM trying to get this resolved.  I have returned from holiday now to find that I can't record, rewind, forward or watch demand or catchup services. 

Can anyone advise what's the best thing to do to resolve this other than wasting my life dealing with VM customer Support?

    Sorry to hear you're having issues with your set-top box at this time. 

    What is advised here when you run through the checks for that error code? If more investigation is required then it may ask you to speak with the team online if that is convenient for you.
