360 problems

Recently migrated to 360. Had to phone help a couple of times, and they sent software to my box. Two problems remain. First, BBC i player either generates a cannot load error message, or when it does load I have to sign in every time. This didn't happen when 360 first loaded, and doesn't happen when I go into i player through my smart TV. Second, sometimes scrolling through the menus is very slow. Box connected to hub with ethernet. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks

Sorry to hear of the issues experienced with the logging into the BBC iPlayer application and the slower than expected navigation of the menus.

Can you please confirm if you've been able to perform any basic reboots on the set top box, using the switch on the back of the set top box, after switching the set top box into standby via the remote control?

If this has been attempted and hasn't worked, please try this again, with the set top box unplugged from at the mains for 30 seconds before re-plugging in and switching back on via the switch on the back of the set top box.

    Thanks,

Thanks for your reply David. Yes have rebooted several times as you suggested and also the internet rooter. We now have several problems several problems since upgrade V6 to 360. We've been sent a new remote, but hasn't made a difference. Would be very grateful if a Technician could come to fix them. Perhaps we need a new 360 box? Problems are: 1. box often freezes and need to reboot. 2. home page slow uploading and slow in scrolling through menus. 3. voice control only works intermittently. 4. sometimes get error message that channel not available. 5. BBC iplayer slow to load and asks for password every time (we don't get this if we use our smart TV for iplayer). 6. GO app only works intermittently. Many thanks for your help.

Thanks for coming back us Lansbury.

Can you please confirm if all cables are connected and are finger tight?

Does the set top box operate over Wi-Fi or via an Ethernet cable?

        Thanks
