Anyone know a way to back out the 360 'upgrade' on my box, and revert to my old remote, and TV Guide?
Like an idiot I accepted the 'upgrade' to 360 (I should have hung on until they made me do it).
New remote, worse. TV guide, worse. Extra features promised, do not work.
This is not about aversion to change.
I have genuinely lost functionality by 'upgrading' to 360.
Please advise if there is a way back to v6.
Conversions are voluntary, but they are irreversible. Unfortunately for you, the conversion to TV360 involves a reformat of your box to remove the TiVo-software and install Horizon/360 in its place. Your account has also been removed from VM's TiVo-platform.
What are the features that don't work? If you can explain the issues you have with them, then other TV360 users may be able to help.
The word 'voluntary', isn't in any of VMs communications.
If you're out of contract, cancel and tell them you want a V6 if they want you to stay as a customer.
