Due to the BBC constantly changing times or channels for programmes due to never ending sports broadcast, my set recordings are either missing the endings of programmes, or missing the programmes completely.
The 360 box does not allow for changes of times or channels.
I have a very old satellite dish with an old Freesat box which always compensates for change of times or channels.
The 360 Horizon & TiVO V6 system operates on a third party provided EPG that updates every 2 hours when the boxes "check in" schedule triggers it. Even then any updates would only be input during normal working hours. The same applies to all Sky & BT TV boxes.
Freesat is part owned by the BBC & they also own the broadcast muxes they transmit with on Freeview, so have more direct if not total control over the EPG updates on these services & on Freeview can change them in near real time.
