We to had this problem and now our box is stuck on the welcome screen and we cannot do anything at all, have you been able to fix yours as trying to get an engineer to come out when someone is home and not working seems to be in 3 weeks time 😫

Since your 360 is stuck on the Welcome screen you should try the following:-
Turn off the 360 by the switch on the back of the box; then on the front of the 360 box hold down both the power button and the - (minus) button at the same time. Then turn on the 360 again whilst keeping hold of those buttons for a further 30 seconds.
If the power button and the - button workaround doesn't solve it then try using the power button and the + (plus) button at the same time instead.
Thankyou we have tried all of this and unfortunately it doesn’t do anything for us we just have a bold orange light on and the welcome screen hopefully can get an engineer out soon as we’re paying for nothing otherwise
