Strangers email address is registered to my new VM account

Hi all,

I have recently signed up to VM, and am trying to register for the my VM app.

However, when I enter my details (i.e. surname, account number and area reference code) it tells me that there is already an email address registered to the account. The email address is a completely strange one to me.

Any tips on how to proceed?

    Sorry you're having some issues setting up your online account. 

    Can you confirm if you've moved recently or is this a brand new account?
