Old contract on VM app

I recently had my router changed. Had to cancel my original contract (I was still in my 14 day cool off period). When I log into the VM app it shows the old contract saying it is closed which is correct. I have uninstalled and re installed the app and made no difference. Is there anything I can do. I only need access to change the router security preferences on the router.

  • This has been resolved now, in the end I had to register with a new account and a different email address. Uninstalled VM app with all the data and cashe, re installed the app, signed in with my new email address. It now works.

    If you have cancelled the contract you don't need the app any more.  You can clear any private settings on the Hub by holding the reset button for 60 seconds and leaving it to reset.

    john1292​  You don't use the My VM App to change the settings on the router.  Enter http://192.168.0.1 into your browser address bar and then enter the settings password as recorded on the bottom of the router (unless you have already changed the settings password to one of your choosing).

      Hi Graham, I have already done that thanks. The router has the parental control activated, I don't have kids. The only way I could de select it was through the app.
