Incorrect details on app

Hi

I recently moved and transferred my virgin broadband to the new property.

However my Virgin Media app is still showing the account number and address for the old property.

Please could I ask for your help to update this.

    You may need a VM forum team member to get to this thread and offer to consent you by personal message and help with this.

    However, for what it’s worth, I can explain why this has happened. VM accounts are tied to the address, not to the person. So the VM app is still logging in with the old details (email address and password) and so is showing the old account information. You should have a new account number so what you need to do is set up a new MyVirginMedia account (you will need to use a different email address - if you don't have one then sign up for a new Gmail or Outlook address as the username), and use these details when logging into the app.
