  • Hi Norrie,

    Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐

    We're sorry to hear you're having issues with signing in to My VM. In order to sign in, you need to have a VM O2 ID. Have you created this yet? If not, please do this first. Once this is created, you'll be able to link you VM account to the ID and sign in as normal going forward.

    You can find help on creating your ID here.

    Many thanks,

      I can still sign in to My Virgin Media on my pc but cannot sign in to the app on phone or i- pad.

      Unable to register  as verification kept being rejected or immediately timed out. Then email address not recognised. Thinking it had been a glitch in the app I tried again today  but did not even receive the verification email to be able to continue.. Strangely, I have still  been receiving monthly billing notifications from VM to my email address.

        Hi Norrie

        Thanks for coming back to the thread. Please do the below on your PC;

        Sign into the My Virgin media account for the email concerned with your VMO2ID

        Select Account Settings

        Select Identity & Security Settings

        Select Manage your products

        Select Manage email app password

        Click on the blue button 'Get New Password'

        Make a note of the generated password. This is what you use in the mail apps along with the VM email address as the username.

    Because of the VM & O2 merger.  We've all had to do it, so don't feel so bad ...
