I have received an email giving the option to upgrade my broadband to 1gb for £3 a month without affecting my contract term. When I click through the link it takes me to a chat to us screen instead of showing the offer. I have tried again today and the same thing happened. I received the email on Monday. I have seen a similar post just now here. Don’t know if there’s a solution thanks.
You as well eh. They want you to talk to them so they can persuade you to pay more money. Do you really need the 1Gb speed? What will you do that you can't do now? It's unlikely to improve WiFi speeds.
Sabrina_B on the forum team sorted me out very quickly yesterday. At least I’m on the new package (contract signed), but the speeds haven’t increased yet! I’ve been told that they will ramp up within 24 hours!
It’s the upload (rather than download) speed improvement that I need for backups and remote streaming.
It should happen right away. You can check the provisioned speed in the Hub settings. Have you reset the Hub?

I haven’t chatted to the team I expected it to show options online it says click here to show your offers. I will try that I had a similar offer a few months ago and it took me through to the offer on the link but it looked like I’d have to agree a new contract. This offer says in the small print I wouldn’t need to.

Thanks I’m thinking I may have enough speed with the 500mb. I’m not gaming or needing to download very large files just now. It didn’t seem too bad to double the speed for £3 but would I notice the difference?
