want longer delay between button presses

When my elderly Dad attempts to change channels on his Tivo, the allowed delay between button presses is too short for him to keep up with. Is there any way to extend this delay to eg 5 seconds or longer?

    No, the delay time is fixed.

    The alternative TV360 platform allows voice control to perform functions, this may be worth exploring. Be aware TiVo & TV360 are fundamentally different and voice control is one of many significant functional variations.
