Redundant Landline Cable

Hello,

My landline connection was switched to VOIP a while ago.  The old wiring from the brown VM wall box to the old BT master socket is redundant and is looking a bit sad and tatty.  I'd like to remove it if possible.

My question is can I do this myself?  I've stripped out all the internal phone wiring with the exception of the master socket and would like to finish things properly.

Yes. It's harmless and VM won't care what you do with it.

  • Hey Bolehill, thank you for reaching out with your question.

As mentioned you are free to do what you want with this, however we aren't liable for any damaged caused by any damage done. Cheers
