Porting old number taking forever
Hi all, late November I helped my disable parents sign up for a VM package including a landline and port over of their old number , we are now in January and the system was installed the beginning of December , we have now been promised 5 different dates for the number port and all have been and gone and their old number has still not been ported over , they have many medical calls etc sometimes from different parts of UK and different services and are unable to let them all know of a new number let alone 30 years worth of friends whom may have tried to get in touch over xmas. Each conversation with VM goes the same with promises and excuses and pretty much don't care attitude. Any ideas what to do ? We have even tried online chats all to no avail. Is this the normal service of VM these days and how they treat elderly and disabled ? We are now also worried that there old number will be lost and never ported.
