Landline Voicemail unusable

I am having the same issue as other VM landline voicemail users in the forum. The problem started sometime during late Feb/early March 2025.

My landline voicemail is not recording/playing messages left by callers. It seemingly saves them as I can hear the usual voicemail new message tone on the handset and then when I dial 1571 the system says there is a new message. However, when I try to play the messages, they are silent.

I have tried using different landline handsets but to no avail. I have also called my landline from a mobile, left a message at the tone but the message is silent when I playback on the landline. I am unable to delete any saved messages as key pressing options are not working and menus are inaccessible. My mailbox is nowhere near full so that is not the problem.

Another forum user said the issue was resolved a couple of weeks ago by VM sending out an engineer to upgrade their landline to fibre.

As I have the same problem, please can this upgrade be arranged for my landline too asap. I am missing important messages in the meantime.
