Landline switch to digital
I’ve noticed my landline isn’t working - just has a constant screeching sound - which having followed the troubleshooting steps suspect is the wiring in/into the socket. Account states no problems with line.
Received the email about the digital switchover ages ago but not yet enabled - wondering if it is possible to request a switchover to resolve the issue.
Website has no details and chat can’t do anything for landline other than point to the website or provide a phone number. Whilst accept most people have another phone it’s an interesting approach to point to a phone number when you’ve already said the phone isn’t working 🤔
Is there any option to request a digital switchover?
