I would like my number taken out of directory due to amount of scam calls.

Thank you for your post. Sorry to hear you've been receiving a lot of scam calls.
We can change you to ex-directory that's not a problem, however we just need to make you aware that this doesn't guarantee that you wouldn't receive scam calls. Are you still happy for us to process this?

yes I am aware of that but would still like to go exdirectory with home phone

No problem at all, I've popped you over a private message so I can help.
This will not stop scam calls at all. They just automatically dial all numbers in a range until someone answers.
Not answering calls from unexpected numbers is the only way to reduce scam calls.
We are struggling to get across to my 87 year old father in law, that by answering every call from the most unlikely locations he is exacerbating the problem by becoming marked down as a number that does pickup & does chat to the caller.
