Virgin TV Go streaming

Hi all.

I recently upgraded my Dell laptop to Win 11 Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.4946)

For the first time since the upgrade, I've tried to watch live TV via Virgin TV Go but something isn't right

Every TV channel I've tried exhibits the same "jerky" behaviour.

This was working perfectly before the upgrade.

BBC iPlayer works fine, as does viewing any sort of video content on Social Media sites

Anyone have any idea?

Thanks

  • So seeing as nobody has a clue, it seems like I'm stuck with a service that doesn't work.

What is so different about Windows 11 24H2 that could cause this?

      Hi Jonesey

Thanks for coming back to the thread. Are you able to try another browser please?

        Hi John, thanks for responding.

I've installed Firefox but I'm having trouble actually accessing TV Go

It keeps on asking for a passkey - which I haven't set up. I only ever log in via my email & password

        Any ideas?

        Thanks

      Hi, thanks for your reply

I should have said, I always use MS Edge and do not have any other browsers installed

Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling was already turned on. Turning it off made no difference after rebooting.

Default High Performance GPU was set to "Let windows Decide". Switching to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 made no difference after rebooting.
