Virgin TV Go app

I have just upgraded to 360 and have found out that I can no longer use the Virgin TV Control app, but now have to use the Virgin TV Go app.

The TV Go app is not as user friendly as the TV control app and appears to be a backwards step, it does not show any channel numbers, the Channel schedules just take’s up so much of the screen compared with the old TV Control app.  Unless I’m missing something, I cannot see my planned recordings and the program information is a waste of time.

Is Virgin planning to update the app with some of the old features?

Unlikely to be any significant updates, the V6\TiVo system and the old control app were developed by TiVo and modified slightly for VM, which is why they're considerably better with more features. VM have not been updating the main 360 software in any significant way and are pushing pretty rapidly towards going to Stream only by the sound of it, so can't see there being any updates related to recordings at this point.

TV Go is an app for streaming (live TV channels, apps, VoD and 360 recordings) and managing devices. It is not a box‑control app. For TV Go to replicate TV Control would be a big redevelopment of the 360 firmware and app, but Liberty Global (VM's owner) showns zero interest in doing this.
