Virgin TV go app using laptop

when I try to watch TV on my laptop I get the following error also when you go to the live TV screen on the left sidebar it does not show all the channels on your package. I have reported it to customer support, but they were not able to sort it over the phone so I am now waiting for an engineer to sort it today!!!  I'm not hopeful as I have read other posts.

My understanding is that the TV go app only works on phones and pads, not portables. I should cancel the technician’s visit, otherwise you will probably be changed £25 because it’s not a VM problem.

    Hi Knightrider80

TVGo should work on both a windows and a Mac laptop via a browser.

Have you tried a different browser, or clearing the browsing data/cache?

There is no longer a Windows Store TVGO app, however Windows devices can use the website, and then install the web app that is offered when visiting the website.

To use the browser version go to https://virgintvgo.virginmedia.com/en.html

The following page lists the browsers to use on   Windows and MAC devices

We tried to log in to the Virgin TV Go app but could not get it registered on the laptop, and the issue is still there. I have cleared the cache as suggested by other community members, but it is still not working. The engineer said he would let me know if he found other information, as he had not encountered this problem before.

does reinstalling Windows cause this issue?
