Unable to stream Sky Sports

I renewed my package and added Sky Sports on Tuesday 3rd June and today (Saturday 7th) decided to set it up all ready to stream on my phone but have found this really difficult.

I go to the sign in page for Sky Sports app click on the VM sign up at the bottom. I use the same email/password that I use for TV Go and My VM. It logs me in fine but when I go to watch something it just says "Get Sky Sports to watch this live". Same thing happens on the laptop. The channel works fine on the TV.

It's as if Sky doesn't know I've got a subscription. I did read somewhere on here it could take 48 hours for Sky to be updated. Another suggestion is to 'register' the device but that should be automatic when I attempt to stream?

Any help would be appreciated.

    Sorry to hear you're having some issues with Sky Sports. Can you confirm what it is you're trying to watch?

      Alex,

      Last Tuesday I added the Sky Sports package. All the channels work fine on the V6 TV Box so the package is active.

      The issue is, when I attempt to stream ANY of the channels via the Sky Sports App or Web Browser I get the following message: "Get Sky Sports to watch this live".

      I've clicked on the VM log in and it takes me to the VM/O2 singing in page. I'm using the My VM email/password that I use for TV Go and online account. It actually logs me in with no issues (just won't let me stream anything).

      It's not a Phone/Laptop/Software issue for sure. Could it be that Sky needs updating to say that my email now has a subscription to use on their app.

      I would very much like a solution to this issue or I will have to cancel the whole account as I'm within 14 days.
