Unable to log onto virgin go app on Apple TV

Hi, we are unable to log into the virgin to go app on Apple TV, it tells us to log in, and shows us the qr code, which when scanned takes us to the below page prompting us to sign in: 


but when we click sign in, we briefly see a white square in a red background, which after a few seconds returns us to the above page. We are stuck in a loop:

    By Apple TV, do you mean you have an Apple TV box or a subscription to it?

      An Apple TV box, 4k 3rd generation (also a subscription to Apple TV haha)

        Are you able to login using just the TV Go details?

  • Hello. I have the same problem. Apple TV box. I don’t own a virgin tv box. TVGO app installs fine on Apple TV box. But only way to sign in is via QR code. Opening that on any phone in our household gives the same useless loop described by the OP above. 
    has anyone solved this?

      Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with logging into TV GO on your Apple TV. 

      Are you able to login to the TV GO app on any other devices? This is so that we can rule out an issue with the TV GO application itself.
