TVGO - Not Available 1001

Why do I keep getting this error when using the TVGO website using Edge browser on two different Laptops I use? I was watching Sky Sports News earlier today and after 10 minutes 'Not Available' popped up!

It happens randomly on Sky Sports and TNT and seems to be only when watching Live broadcasts, it will just throw up Not Available and show the 1001 code? I mainly watch after 5pm and another family member watching TVGO via Chrome/Firefox on a Desktop PC also  gets this problem as well?

This, coincidentally, started happening since we took the free offer up to have TNT Sports added to our package because  of the removal of Eurosport!

And while we are on about TNT, why do I keep getting nagged with 'Are You Still Watching' and then ending the broadcast if you don't click 'Keep Watching'? I remember this was an issue when I last subscribed to TNT over a year ago and looks like no one at Virgin wants to acknowledge the problem, acknowledge it exists or offer any solution for it, so why does it happen?

  • I’m getting the same issue, on the app, watching sky sports news. Keeps giving the same error. Could watch tnt the other night for a life game either. Laptop on windows 10and using chrome. And have already cleared cache and all the usual stuff.

      I noticed it mainly on Sky Sports News too as that's what we watch when we sit down to eat in the evening, always happens on that channel! Then the first time I watched TNT through the TVGO  website it did on that as well and happens every single day, no pattern to it, you can watch for 10 minutes or an hour or more then it pops up!

      I've also changed my 2nd laptop, was using an old Dell i3 but now have an i5 with 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Win 11 Pro and Edge, does it on this one too, was watching TNT Sports 4  for the A-League Men, only watching for 35 mins and 'Not Available' pops up, this was at 11:25 am today!

      Wired or wireless doesn't make a difference as it happens on desktops and laptops!!

  • Having same issue...having to watch TVgo via laptop, due to major house renovation at the mo, start watching on laptop ok but will randomly drop out displaying 1001 progamme unavailable, it's annoying tbh as seems random in nature happens with chrome edge... VM you need to fix this asap..

      Just to confirm this is only happening when you are watching via Chrome?

      Any other browser works fine? 

  • Only used chrome & edge so far...Seemscto be a bug using the windows app

      Thanks for coming back to us on this one. 

      Do you have the same issue when using TV Go via a mobile or tablet device? If not, it's possible it may be down to a browser extension you may be running. Please check this and ensure you have no extensions running. If you do, disable these and try again.
