I'd already set up a passkey as my 2FA, and now it's asking me to do it all again...yet it won't progress when I click 'passkey' in the options and I have to revert to email or SMS.

VM tech team is almost as incompetent as their customer service team.

So I now get as far as waiting for a text message that never arrives. When one did, it said it was incorrect and crashed. This is a terrible service, really awful

We’ve got the same problem. Try testing things PROPERLY before rolling out changes 🤬

Mine is now fixed. I had to go through a very long-winded process of setting up 2FA, linking old accounts etc. It would let me set up a Passkey, nor did it send a text code, but it did send links to emails so I used those instead.

Seems to be fixed. In fairness this is good based on issues in the past and the time to correct them.

Now saying maintenance - systems currently down 

The Test Match is really exciting and no way to stream because of VM. Really, really bad timing

Update from VM:

'Absolutely! You're not the only impacted one Joanne, and this is launched today. The single sign on identity is launched only today and we're awaiting for work around from our team to get this fixed.

It should be fixed before end of the day there can be some final changes need to be completed as it is only being launched today however, you should be able to login to your account before the end of the day'

In response to my question re compensation/refund:

'I'm afraid this does not come as impacted by charge as the online account is a value added service and it is not charged service. However, I'd request you to kindly get in touch when this is resolved and we can check for options on your account to compensation for the experience you had'
