That's a link to a generic site. It would be helpful to have the direct link as there isn't an obvious one to watch Sky Sports

Whilst the Sky Sports app still isn't officially supported on Chromebooks, it might be possible to sideload the app on a chromebook if it isn't available via the app store.  You might need to use a search engine to find out how to sideload and run non supported apps.

The following page explains how to use the Sky Sports app and also includes links to download the ios and android app, plus instructions on how to watch on a computer via the Sky Sports website.

If you pay a Sky Sports subscription directly to Sky rather than via a third party such as VM then you will have access to the Sky Go app which allows you to watch Sky Sports channels.

  • Hello Brucie.

Thanks for your post regarding Sky content on your Chromebook. We do have a Sky Sports app best designed to be used on tablets and mobile devices.

However as long as you are subscribed to Sky Sports on your TV then you can view the content through this link here

    Hope that helps.

Also does anyone know why Sky Sports doesn't support the Chrome system apart from Sky Sports Mix and Sky Sports News?

      Hi Steve721,

Thank you as well for your question.

As far as I know Sky did have an issue an with Chromebooks displaying content. However as this issue is not with us, were unable to comment of offer a solution.

Have you spoken with Sky at all t see what the current situation is?
