Wigan area poor speed/packet loss

Hi

Experiencing poor speeds and packet loss this evening at both mine and my partner's place - we both have 250mb Virgin, the properties a couple of streets apart. I'm on an OpenWRT router and she's on the Hub 3. 

Anyone I can talk to about this?

    Have you used the /check-services/ function to check for problems in your area? You can also a run a test on your equipment from there. 

    If nothing is showing  you could also try the automated Service Status number  0800 561 0061.  This is generally  better  as it gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.

      Yeah since I posted this a local fault has shown up in service status. I'd note that connections seem fine individually but networking between the two is really, really bad.

        Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. 

        Sorry to hear of any broadband issues. I've checked the system today and no reported area outages or issues are showing so I do hope everything is now fixed for you. If not and you still need assistance, the Hub is in Modem Mode. Please could you pop it in Router Mode for us, let us know and we'll run further tests.
