Speed problems with router

Question

i have broadband only 1 gig residential. The virgin speed test app tells me the speed coming in is over 1 gig. My two TV's with fire sticks are hard wired but the speed test on the firesticks is only showing 90mbs and between 25 and 70 mbs. The cables are 5e. We have other items like Alexa's, mobiles and computers but they are not all on together. It is not the Fire stick speed tester as i previously had business 350 and was getting 275mbs on my main tv.

Any idea wth is going on?

Most likely a faulty Ethernet cable. If not a wires are correctly connected then the speed can revert to a max of 100M. Either get the cable tested or replace it. Cat5e or 6 is fine, anything else is a waste of money for home use.
