A few things but nothing correlates with the timing of my latency spikes

I'm on 250M for best rate limit here is what I use

    download 245760Kbps = 240Mb

    upload 25600Kbps = 25Mb

The reason for the low limiting of download is to not buffer back on hubs rate limiting

Hi yes i've set something similar on my ubiquiti UDM Pro. Can't see how (or if I need to?) change this on the VM hub though.

well no you can't change rate limits on the hub or people will be going faster :p

Please post the power levels and network log from the Hub.  It might show some clues?  As an aside, if you are on a DOCIS network, it will have more latency than an FTTP connection.

Hi Adduxi thanks, does this help? There are some sporadic errors in the network log but not necessarily correlating with my latency issues

      Thanks, I got a "B" https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat?test-id=98cfece1-91b1-423f-978d-f8dcc12eb9d2

The latency only went up to 47ms. I also don't have huge downloads/uploads frequently. When I cross reference the latency spikes on the broadband monitor to my Unifi upload/download graph, I can't see a correlation. This is also from a wireless laptop, i'm sure the result would be better if I did it from my wired laptop.

@Daniel - same issue. No, I haven't tried setting my hub back to router mode and I do not wish to do so. Are there any tests that can be done on your end by any chance. I followed the link you sent and input my details and it couldn't detect an issue (which is understandable as it seems to be transient..) and the help guides were mainly related to Wifi issues (I am on a wired connection).

      Thanks in advance

Edit: I will try implementing SQM in my UDM-Pro.

yes but that average if you look at your download it spiked 153ms

        what speed are you on?

Hi Daniel, I responded a few days ago below, can you please check and review my monitor and advise if there's an issue on the line? Thanks
