Is there any kind of timetable for when a given area will get the FTTP upgrade?

When we moved from our old house, we were leaving a FTTP broadband provider that doesn't serve the area where we live now. My son's unhappy about his gaming ping times now that we're with Virgin HFC. Is there any way to find out when our area is due to be upgraded to full FTTP?

    A pity kids are not equally interested in their maths homework, they would understand a few ms of ping has little effect to a game server or other competitor that is many 1000s of KM away.

    The time line was once by the end of 2028, but now - who knows.

      Jitter will though, the part that HFC isn't good at. This assuming that the HFC isn't congested or otherwise faulty.

        We are on RFoG, jitter is negligible. ( < 0.9ms ).
