Hi, was wondering if anyone could help, I've had virgin media for just over a year. My package is the gig1 and the problem I've had since day one is my download speed only gets to about 400-500mbs. I'm about to start paying £80 a month for half of the 1130mbs what I'm promised . I was wondering if there is anything I can do or any recommendations that could help.

If the first column (Router) is nowhere near 1000Mbps then call in a fault.
If 'Router' it is over 1000Mbps then the issue is within your location - most likely the kit being used can not handle that speed. Wifi will usually struggle.

What hub do you have?
Hopefully you don't think you've been 'promised' full speed over a wireless connection.
