I'm new to forum.
I recently upgraded from M250 to 1Gig.
When I was on 250 I was receiving 250 per sec. whilst in the same room as the Hub5.
Now I'm on 1Gig I scarcely get 400 per second in the same room as the hub.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Your not getting the speed due to your understanding of how you can go fast on one device
Hi, Thanks for replying I've been away for a few days.
Samknows is telling me what my hub5 is capable of 1150
my phone is capable of 550
I have never been able to receive any more than 400 connected direct to hub5 but aways got
250 + whist on m250 contract.
M laptop with new tp link usb dongle still does not show any more than 500
You are being provided with full speed to the HUB over the VM network.
30Mbps is guaranteed over wireless:

Keep in mind the faster speeds are designed to be shared across multiple devices at the sime time.
Regarding wired devices try in safe mode with networking:

This determines if there is a software issue limiting the device's speed.
This query comes in far too often methinks. Could it be improved by VM clearly stating they only guarantee 30Mb over Wifi due to a myriad of environmental factors around signals?
Yes they could, but then they would lose sales of higher speed broadband contracts to people who think they will get faster WiFi.
