Is this over Wifi or wired?  VM only guarantee Wifi speeds of 30Mb.  Run the FULL tests on this site  www.samknows.com/realspeed and post the results.

Try checking with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 or if you have a VM landline 150 as small local faults are not listed on the VM status page.

Post the power levels, Pre and PostRS errors and network log from the Hub. Also setup a BQM to monitor your circuit www.thinkbroadband.com/ping

    Once done we can comment.

So the Samknows is showing full speed to your Hub.  The problem lies with the device so that is what you need to focus on. How is this device connected?

      Thanks.
Device is connected through wireless. I have this problem only for the last few weeks. It was at full speed before and I have not changed anything.

You don't have to change anything when it comes to wireless as external changes can affect wireless speeds.

Your device may be connected to the 2.4Ghz band, rather than 5Ghz.

You can check this in the 'Connect Devices' section of the HUB settings.

  • Thanks for all your help, Adduxi and carl_pearce. Much appreciated. My mobile (S24) picks up full speed. I will keep checking my laptop. Could be a problem there.

Try the laptop with a Cat 6 cable connection.  If it hasn’t an Ethernet port a USB Gigabit NIC adapter will only cost a few pounds and will be a worthwhile investment for troubleshooting.
