1GBS & upload limited to 85 Mbps

My upload is limited to about 85 MBS average sometimes its 70 sometimes its up to 90.
I used to be able to get 104mbs on speedtests but now I can't and I recall another user having this issue.

      No but that wasn't an issue before and mine is a RFOG connection which doesn't use 3.1 on upload and why I have 6 upload channels.

    Yes your being rate limit so that everyone else can have bandwidth looks like VM have found a way to QoS the upstream HFQ for your area so you all don't buffer and ping spike at a low bandwidth use in gaming

      If that was the case I would get full speed at say 3am which I don't and my BQM wouldn't go from perfect to this..

        Well with all that going on I would think your 1st post would show many T# timeouts

      Word soup. HFQ is a queuing strategy used in QoS deployments, it's not QoS'd itself: interfaces and in turn flows are. VM do not apply additional QoS upstream it's all handled by the upstream scheduler on the CMTS. RFoG looks a little different from HFC however that's a function of RFoG, not some secret sauce QoS.

    So an Virgin tech has been out today and change the router and checked a few things and there is still NO CHANGE and no response from support workers on here..

    Looks like upstream congestion RFoG style.

    Either one or more people wanting to use the upload heavily have signed up or an existing customer is using the upstream more. 

    Think I mentioned a while back likely on one of your threads that selling 100 up on the RFoG was potentially problematic. If someone's discovered torrents and is letting them rip seeding 24x7 that'll do it.

    Not the same issue as the guy seeing maximum 85. His issue was 4 channels.

    The issue has now been resolved. Tech been put and replaced the Hub and cleaned the optical connector. 
    He escalated it as that didn't solve the issue some "back end work was done" and now fixed..

        Well its back to slow upload speeds again and poor BQM...
