Hello i just ordered the M500 broadband and i’ve come to know i don’t have a virgin media wall socket however i have a wall socket thats unbranded and it looks like it would fit a virgin media wire and im not sure if i need a virgin media wall socket The picture is attached pls do let me know https://ibb.co/Z8k0BBj
It could have been for VM but from when and is it still connected to the service,
equally it could be an old Sky TV connection.

Call the Pre-installation and delivery team on 0800 052 1734.
Explain what needs to be done and book an engineer visit.
Looks like an installation hack job through what used to be a TV aerial socket.
You could try a coupler onto the stub of cable poking out of the wall, then use your quick start cables
