Wall box, query if compatible with virgin?

 

Hello all,

I was hoping to get virgin media to my new property (which I am having a few problems with). On the chat they said that virgin was last supplied to my rental in August 2025, however I am not able to find a virgin wall box in the house. I have attached a copy of the outside box - which does look like it may have been virgin. But on the other side are these 2 connectors. One said bt openreach, but I have not heard of the other one. Has anyone come across this box before ? Is it compatible with virgin media?

    Comcast was absorbed into Virgin Media some years ago. It is the same network, & the wiring should be fine. Make sure you push the connector from the provided self install kit onto the terminal marked "TV" in the bottom of the diplexer/isolator outlet. You might want to try removing the paint from the terminal or you could end up with a poor connection.

    Comcast box with the connector sticking out of the bottom looks like the one for VM.
