VM cable disconnection
Who in VM do we need to advise about this: A house that is being renovated is the start point for the VM cable that serves the street. It is on a part of the house that is being demolished so will likely be disconnected.

Are you the property developer or someone who might be affected by the cable being removed?

and the usual procedure seems to be that VM charges a non-refundable survey fee of about £250 to produce a quote for the work.
Thanks - we’ll be moving in eventually so not really impacted when the cable goes and won’t necessarily use VM afterwards. It’s more for VM to continue to provide the service to the rest of The street.
