I've been searching on the Check Availability page on the website and when I type in the address of my flat, it's not available.
However, it is available for the flat directly above mine which is odd, along with the flats in the terraced building next to my building.
Surely this means my flat is also eligible for Virgin Media broadband? Would be good to find out more.

Flats can be problematic, in that it may be a capacity issue in the communal feed. Hopefully a VM spotter can advice in due course.
