Virgin Media saying broadband not available at my new flat

I am moving into a basement flat. The previous tenant had virgin media (and moved out only two weeks ago). However the address of the flat (eg 12a street name instead of 12 street name) isn’t available so I can’t register for my own broadband even though it’s definitely available. Can someone please help me with this, because I can’t get through to anyone on the phone because I dont already have an account number.

    Hi Maggie,

    Have a chat with the sales team by calling them on 0800 183 1234.  They may have more up to date records, or may be able amend the system or  book in a 'site survey' if they think it's possible
