Upgrading to Full Fibre, where will the modem be installed?

i hvae Virgin Media Broadband. The installation point is currently in the middle of the house and the modem obiviously connected to it.

I want this same point to be used when my line is upgraded to full fibre. When discussiong on the call they said they will bring it to just inside the house. They suggested i discuss this witth the engineers on the day.

I know what installers are like. they will do whatever is easiest for themselves! 

Anyone have experience on this? i want my current virgin point to be used, and not have a modem at my front door or by my front window!

    When/how are you expecting this change to happen?

    in some of the most recent posts but it seems that any changes are likely to be slow and gradual.
