Transferring old hub onto new account

Hello, I have been caught up in the delayed quick start kit situation. Still waiting for ours as of 7th December. Just out of interest we have switched from a virgin contract in my husband's name to one in my name and still have the hub 3 router from that account/contract. I understand the routers are linked to each account but is it possible for tech support to transfer that hub to the new account to use until thenquic start kit arrives

    Technically that would be a simple thing to arrange, but they will usually insist on the router change with a consequent break in service. This of course is to discourage people from changing the name to get a new user discount.

    You might be fortunate and have a VM person who comes across this thread and asks for this to be done.

    We're sorry to hear you've been affected by the delayed equipment. I'm afraid any equipment relating to a previous account would need to be returned. We wouldn't be able to add the old equipment to the new account. 

    As frustrating as what it is, you will need to wait until you've received your equipment.
