Street Cabinet
Hi all. This may have been discussed before but I'm new to the forum
My wife has just rung me at work to tell me Virgin Media are installing a cabinet outside our house. We live in a gable end terrace and the gable end needs repointing, once the cabinet is in we will not be able to repoint that section of wall.
When locations for cabinets are planned is any brain power actually used in deciding where they are going. A couple of meters further down and the cabinet would have been outside my garden wall, no problem. Or why not across the road next to the two open reach cabinets
Shouldn't we have had notification this was happening?
I'm not against the street cabinet, I might even go with Virgin once it's up and running. I just thought a bit of common sense would be used regarding placement of cabinets and the need for properties to have maintenance.
