Still no service

My neighbours and I have had absolutely no service since the beginning of January. We receive regular texts confirming the fault is known, sometimes an engineer is even onsite, although he must be invisible. 8 weeks up and the fault is cleared! But it isn’t! Any help or suggestions happily received.

  • Hi JB29,

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, sorry to hear you have had no services since the beginning of January and for any inconvenience caused, have we advised what the issue is and what is causing the delay?

    Regards

    Paul.

      Hi Paul

The issue was what I suggested it was 2 months ago. The engineer who finally cleared it, couldn’t understand why no one had come straight away. Virgin are claiming the fault was intermittent and won’t be paying expenses or even compensation. It wasn’t we had absolutely nothing service for two months. My neighbour is a barrister and I was a comms engineer for 40+years, we won’t be giving up our claim!

      regards

      John

a usual NON helpful answer from staff but the box is ticked - post allocated - read - reply any old rubbish

but thats VM here - i guess its better than offshore who would tell you it will be fixed tomorrow - or the next day or the one after

i cannot help with the mending of the fault but i can point you to getting £9 odd a day since early Jan until the planets line up or VM get off their butts and get you back on line

keep notes from when it started - open a complaint - that will do nothing but it gets it out of the way as you need one open 8 weeks to go to arbitration when VM try to screw not paying the compensation - the complaint will likely be closed - ignored or replied to in rubbish english not addressing the problem - fine - just file that wilh the claim for compo

and pass the info to any and all neighbours so they can claim also this could get expensive to VM you already have 60 ish days at £9 odd in the bank each

and if and when its sorted demand the payment in cash [well a cheque] not credit and dont be tempted to accept £20 or £50 in total as a good will payment
