Self install kit broadband hub not working properly

We tried to install it today and didn't get anywhere fast the hub was flashing lights white and red light tried ringing virgin media up error message on screen broadband not connecting error message c104 please ring us did that virgin are sending out engineer on Monday it's showing as  a fault red lights and white lights many thanks Jonathan any help would be appreciated

    Sorry to hear of the service issues following the receipt of your equipment, we appreciate you taking the time to raise this via the forums.

     

    Firstly, since receiving the equipment and setting it up, have you followed the instructions received and activated the equipment? This can be done by calling 0800 953 9500 or speaking to the team using any of the methods here.

     

    If you have done this, can you elaborate on the error message received? Help and support can be found here for TV error codes, there isn't a C104 but CS1004 is a connection issue which would be explained if the broadband service hasn't been activated or there is an issue.
