Ridiculous delays on installation.

I was originally scheduled for install on the 26th of October. Then that was delayed to mid November then December and now it was supposed to be today (2nd January) no one has shown up ever. Every time I phone/contact support they give me the same rubbish excuse and promise me it will be sorted the next day. It never has been. Now my online account says I have no install appointments and I received an email last week from Virgin saying "We were too hasty our services aren't available in your area yet"

Why is it taking them so long to do the install as far as I know one bunch of engineers turned up in early October pulled some cable through to my neighbours house duct and then it's been left there ever since. 

Am I actually ever going to receive service from VM? 

  • I should add to this they called me 2 weeks ago saying that the problem had been solved and my broadband would definitely be installed on the 2nd of January.

      I have taken a look and I can see you've spoke to us since this.

      Did they manage to help at all?

        I haven't spoken to anyone since this that has been able to help in any way. There's still no date for my install or my prepull my online account used to show a date for these but even that has disappeared
