Relocating External Junction Box - Telephone Cable

Hi, we were planning to relocate the VM brown external wall junction box just around the corner of the house. This is a move of probably about 2 metres and I know we have sufficient cable coming from the street cabinet as I buried it in the lawn adjacent to the junction box.

On the same wall we have a phone line junction box and a small cable runs from the VM junction box to the phone line box.

Is this required? Do I need to keep this connection?

We no longer have an internal phone socket. This was removed as we don't use a landline.

Thanks

No they wont move/use the old landline box/connection - VM are moving to VOIP connections - mine recently changed and my landline connection is via an internal cable connecting the phone to a socket on the back of the Hubs.

Ask the Tech to remove it all when they relocate your omnibox.
